Our name, "Evangel," means "good news." It is the good news of Jesus Christ that has provided our vision since our founding in 1959. We are located in Wheaton, Illinois, "across from the DuPage County Fairgrounds," in the western suburbs of Chicago.
You're always welcome to visit in person. In the meantime, come in and browse our website.
Worship bulletins, Sermon Audios and Notes
Worship bulletins (order of service) are available for all worship services since January 2006, when this version of the website was launched.
MP3 Audio Files of sermons are available for nearly every sermon since December 2006, and a few before that.
Sermon Notes and Outlines. PDF files of the PowerPoint outlines used by Pastor Dave since August 2008, and notes or PowerPoint outlines for previous sermons are also available.
Retrieving files
There are numerous ways to get at listings. For simplicity:
- start with the archive list of worship services. This produces a list of services for the current year.
- Click on the "Worship Service" title to see the order of service for a particular date.
- If available, audio and notes will be shown under "Additional links."
- You can see earlier dates by modifying the Filter criteria at the top of the page.
